Enterprise 2.0: the ability to work in a “different” way.
A natural question that arises in our minds whenever we are faced with the possibility of a change, is, “Why do any of us need to work in a different way?” The simple answer is, “Unless you feel able to cope effectively with the rising number of emails, the struggle to find the right information when you need it, and keeping pace with an ever-changing and always demanding role, you need the ability to work ‘differently.’” As the expectations of your abilities to “coordinate” and “collaborate” with people, information and events is constantly rising, external pressures to respond to frequent changes in the marketplace continue to rise as well. In addition, you may possibly feel that “new” technologies ranging from Instant Messaging to unified communications, and Knowledge Management to wikis, represent further challenges to your already stretched time and abilities to absorb change.
