Capgemini wins Outsourcing Award
Capgemini has won this year’s National Outsourcing Association (NOA) award for Outsourcing Service Provider of the Year. Capgemini was presented with the award by Declan Curry at yesterday’s award ceremony dinner at Radisson SAS Portman Square, London.

The award reflects Capgemini’s status as a global leader in outsourcing. The Group achieved recent half-year revenues of €3,472m, up 20.8% on the same period last year, and its Outsourcing activity represented 36% of the Group’s overall revenues during the first half of 2005. This growth reflects the trust leading companies place in Capgemini to help them solve complex business problems and deliver better, faster and more sustainable results.
Since 2004 Capgemini’s UK outsourcing business has increased its order book for new outsourcing business. This includes the start of the 10-year £3 billion contract with HM Revenue & Customs and extending existing client relationships with companies like WH Smith News and British Energy.
Martyn Hart, chairman of the National Outsourcing Association commented: “This category was open to outsource service providers of all sizes, as such the judges were determined to keep the focus on comparative results and constant innovation, rather than the obvious, obtainable through sheer size. Capgemini’s growth this year has been exceptional, undoubtedly helped by its mega-deal with the Inland Revenue, but also through renewals and growth from existing clients. Its investment in new offshore destinations and partnership program for the benefit of clients surpassed that of all other nominations.”
