CAP GEMINI ERNST & YOUNG September 30th 2000 REVENUE

The third quarter 2000 consolidated revenue of Cap Gemini Ernst & Young amounts to 2,009 million euros, an increase of 99.9% over the third quarter revenue of 1,005 million euros published by the Cap Gemini Group in 1999.
In line with the guidance given on September 14th, the third quarter 2000 pro forma growth shows an increase of 8.2%, to be compared with the 3.2% pro forma growth for the second quarter of 2000, reflecting almost entirely the improvement of organic growth, the currency exchange effect being practically the same.
For the first nine months of 2000, the Cap Gemini Ernst & Young revenue growth is 44.1% compared to the revenue published at September 30th 1999. On a pro forma basis (taking into account the Ernst & Young Consulting activities as from January 1st), the growth rate amounts to 6.4%, to be compared with the 5.5% pro forma growth rate over the first half of 2000.
