About RSS
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML-based file format for syndicating and aggregating online content. Content headlines/summaries are automatically delivered to news readers/services which are setup to receive these types of feeds (based on the user’s subscription preferences).
Using a RSS feed
Before you can subscribe to an RSS feed, you must first have one of the following types of RSS-capable readers:
- A web browser that supports RSS feeds
(such as Firefox, Safari (Mac), Opera, IE7) - A web-based/online news reader
(such as Netvibes, Bloglines, NewsGator) - A news reader application that you download and install on your computer
(such as FeedDemon, NetNewsWire)
Next, you simply need to add (copy/paste) the address of the RSS feed into your news reader. As we publish new content to our website or to the CTO blog, the headlines of the feeds you have subscribed to will automatically appear in your news reader.
Legal Terms
RSS news feeds are a free service provided by Capgemini for private/non-commercial use only and are bound by our site’s Terms & Conditions.
